COLM BRODERICK & NIAMH DALTON
Exciting news for the 2026 Koroit Irish Festival with the signing of a major act from Ireland.
COLM BRODERICK, a uilleann piper from County Carlow, will play at the festival, accompanied by concertina player NIAMH DALTON from County Kerry.
Colm was named Ireland's Young Musician of the Year for 2025 and has won multiple All-Ireland titles in uilleann piping.
He has represented Ireland at international level and has played for Irish president Michael D. Higgins.
We are so excited to have such brilliant talent coming from Ireland to Koroit, making our wonderful festival even more authentically Irish.
FIVE O'CLOCK CHARLIE
Five O'Clock Charlie are an Irish- Australian folk band with its roots in Tipperary. They play a unique range of Irish and Australian songs that blend together to create an uplifting acoustic sound with harmony vocals, guitar, Irish bouzouki, accordion, tin whistle, double bass, banjo and didgeridoo. This is their Koroit Irish Festival debut.
TIMLIN'S GREEN
Timlin’s Green is a six-piece Celtic rock band from Adelaide. They debuted at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe with their show 'Irish at the Ark'. Think trad Irish tunes kicked up with a rock edge. Guitar, mando and violin driven rhythms that’ll have ya clappin, stompin & singin along. This is Irish music that doesn’t just play to you, it plays through you! Don’t miss this electrifying celebration of Irish music.
DAMIEN LEITH - (FRIDAY ONLY)
Great news for the 2026 Koroit Irish Festival as we can confirm Damien Leith is making his Koroit Irish Festival comeback.
Damien is so happy to be coming back to celebrate our 30th festival with us.
Damien first came to Koroit in 2014 and fell in love with the place.
He will appear only at the Friday night concert in 2026, a treat for those lucky enough to get tickets for the concert before it sold out.
KELLYS WAYKE
If you like your Irish music lively than Kellys WAYKE is your cake of tea.They are raucous, fun and blindlingly entertaining and will again set the tone for Koroit to party like only Koroit can. Get your singing and dancing shoes ready to fire and join in the fun.
TONY & CARMEL MCCABE
We are thrilled to welcome Tony and Carmel McCabe back to the Koroit Irish Festival.
This husband and wife duo have moved to Australia from their homeland of Ireland, where they have built a reputation as brilliant performers.
Tony is also the proud father of Irish superstar singer Dan McCabe Music.
At this year's festival they will perform their "Mighty Ghosts of Erin show"
DOUBLE SHOT MAGGIE
A Koroit Irish Festival favourite, Double Shot Maggie are everything you want when you set out to see a live music performance to remember.
This colourful and vibrant combination are the perfect match for Koroit and 2026 is going to be another piece in the perfect puzzle.
CHRISTINE AYRES SCHOOL OF IRISH DANCING
The Christine Ayres School of Irish Dancing will return to the Koroit Irish Festival in 2026. This world championship winning collection of dancers have helped take our festival to the next level and they are excited to be back.
THE SEISIUN
A collection of the best traditional Irish musicians in the country. The Seisiun will truly bring Ireland to Koroit, playing the music they love with unbridled passion.
OLD MELBOURNE ROAD
Old Melbourne Road is setting off once more to be part of the Koroit Irish Festival.
It wouldn't be the same without this dynamic crew from Ballarat. Make sure you mark your program with their set times so you don't miss out on all the fun and frivolity.
MARIA FORDE
The Queen of the Koroit Irish Festival, the one and only Maria Forde, will be back in 2026. How lucky are we to have such an esteemed performer who loves coming to Koroit so much.
O'SHEA-RYAN ACADEMY OF IRISH DANCE
Crowd favourites O’Shea-Ryan Academy of Irish Dance will once again be entertaining the crowd in Commercial Road. Dancers of all ages give captivating displays of Irish dance.
DYLAN O'KEEFFE
How great is this, a local Koroit lad gets to play the Koroit Irish Festival. Dylan is a talented and passionate performer who can't wait to get out and entertain. He will be in action on Sunday May 3 at Victoria Park, providing a soundtrack for the Gaelic Games and other activities. Sunday has become a must for festival goers and Dylan is just the man to keep everyone entertained.
HARPISTRY
Three wonderful musicans showing their immense skill on the most Irish of instruments, the Harp. What a special treat this will be for Koroit Irish Festival music lovers.
JOHNNY ANSCOMBE & THE RUBBER BAND
Our 2023 Koroit Irish Festival Artist of the Year, this incredible array of musicians from all over the place will light up our streets again with their songs and tunes.
MEL & TREV MCKENZIE
There's no Koroit Irish Festival without this dynamic duo. This act just shows once more how lucky we are to have such talented Gaelic performers in the south-west.
SCOTT CAIN & DANIELLE STEARMAN
How lucky we are to have such brilliant performers in our own town.
Danielle Stearman and Scott Cain, both national performers of note, will be turning their talents to entertaining in our Kids Zone at the festival on Saturday May 2.
And the incredible thing, Kids enter the festival for free, how good is that?
THE FERRITERS
The Ferriters are much loved in Koroit with their rollocking sound and energy getting the crowd up and about. They have the classic down pat, as well as some cracking originals, telling some intruging stoires set to the backdrop of some brilliant Celtic tunes.
CEILLI DANCE
The brilliant and versatile Rhys Crimmin will be in Koroit and leading the Ceilli Dance at the Koroit Theatre. Held for the first time last year, the Ceilli Dance was a huge success and will be a feature again. It will take place on the Saturday night as part of your festival ticket, a meal available to purchase at an extra cost.
