Friday Night – Opening Night Koroit Irish Festival

In what is shaping as another huge Friday night of the Koroit Irish Festival, we have so much planned. For the first time ever we are doing a live cross to Ireland. We also have The BordererS doing an Irish Singalong for the very first time, plus much much more. Friday night tickets, include the whole weekend, are sold out, but Saturday-Sunday tickets (just $20, under 18s free) are still avaiable and with this ticket, you will still see all the big acts and enjoy all the fun the Koroit Irish Festival brings. Live music will be available at pubs and restaurants in Koroit on the Friday night for those without a full weekend ticket. Great fun, great value, great community.

That’s right, on the Friday night, April 26, of this year’s festival, we are doing a live cross to The Cobblestone Pub in Dublin. There will be live music and conversation beamed from one great Irish town to another. This is going to be massive. We are taking Koroit to Ireland and bringing Ireland to Koroit!

Some more huge news with a world first at the 2019 Koroit Irish Festival. On Friday April 26, legendary Celtic band The Borderer’S will perform an Irish Singalong Show, designed just for us! This will be so fun, get around it!

The Koroit Irish Festival is proud to announce a very special event at this year’s festival. Legendary Koroit performer, the late Tommy Brooks, will be honoured on the Friday night when his niece, the very talented Jo Brooks (Cill Airne), and his great mate, Frank “Tuddy” Bowman, come together on stage at the Koroit Theatre to play a tribute song for Tommy.

Back again on the Friday night by popular demand will be PETE’S FAMOUS IRISH QUIZ.
This is always a Friday night highlight so come with your thinking cap on.
